Obed Dieudonne, a Kigali native who knew the country's roads, parks, and travel patterns inside out, founded Kigali Car Hire back in 1990. The handful of cars he started with has since grown into a company trusted by tourists, NGOs, diplomats, and business travellers from one end of Rwanda to the other.
We're based at KG 648 St, Kigali, Rwanda, running around the clock with two ways to hire: self-drive car hire for travellers who'd rather handle the driving themselves, and chauffeur-driven car hire with local drivers who know every stretch of road in the country.
Our fleet now numbers more than 50 vehicles spanning every category you'd need — economy sedans starting at $30/day, tough 4x4 Land Cruisers built for gorilla trekking and safari runs, luxury cars for weddings and executive trips, and minibuses for groups or corporate outings. Each one is fully insured, serviced on schedule, and delivered to you clean, wherever you're staying in Kigali.
